Digital Lantern is a free service that helps you find low-cost internet programs you may qualify for. We are not an internet provider, and we don't decide who qualifies for any program — the providers and government programs make those decisions.

Our information is guidance, not a guarantee

We work hard to keep prices, speeds, and eligibility rules accurate, but programs change their terms and coverage areas. Always confirm the details on the provider's official application, which is where you'll actually sign up. If something on our site doesn't match what a provider tells you, the provider's information wins.

About Maya

Maya is an AI guide. She's helpful, but she can make mistakes. Her suggestions are a starting point, not a final answer about your eligibility. Never share Social Security numbers, passwords, or full financial account numbers with Maya — she doesn't need them and will never ask for them.

How we're funded

This service is free for you. Internet providers may pay us a referral fee when you sign up through our site. This never changes the price you pay.

Using the site

Please use Digital Lantern honestly — for example, don't submit false information about benefits or eligibility, and don't attempt to disrupt or misuse the service.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
